It looks dated.
The site no longer reflects the quality of the business behind it.
Website redesign
It really shouldn’t feel like something you just put up with.
We’ll look at what you have now, what’s working, what isn’t, and what your business actually needs next — then build a fresh website around that. No patching up old code. No forcing your new site into the limitations of the old one.
We use your current website as a reference point, carry forward what’s worth keeping, and create the replacement properly from scratch.
We’ll show you where your current website may be holding your business back, what we’d change, and how a new site could improve the experience for your customers.
Does any of this sound familiar?
Sidewinds Studio offers website redesign packages to small businesses UK-wide from our hub in Telford, Shropshire.
Maybe your services have evolved, your branding has moved on, or the site simply doesn’t feel like a fair reflection of the business anymore. Sometimes it still technically “works” — but that doesn’t mean it’s doing a good job.
A dated website can make a business feel less established, make information harder to find, and create friction where there really shouldn’t be any. If you find yourself avoiding sending people to your own website, that’s usually a pretty good sign it’s time to rethink it.
The site no longer reflects the quality of the business behind it.
Things feel cramped, fiddly or harder to use than they should.
Services, branding or priorities have changed, but the website hasn’t.
Important information is buried, unclear or spread across too many pages.
The site exists, but it isn’t doing much to turn visitors into customers.
If you’re more comfortable sharing your Instagram than your website, that speaks volumes.
Small changes become a hassle, so the site gradually falls further behind.
The business has personality, but the website doesn’t show it.
What we keep
Starting again with the website doesn’t mean starting again with the business.
We’ll look at what’s already worth keeping — your domain, email setup, useful content, photography, branding and any SEO value your current site has built up — and carry the right things forward into the new site.
The aim isn’t to replace things for the sake of it. It’s to keep what still works, improve what doesn’t, and build the new website properly around where your business is now.
What we improve
A new website should do more than look newer.
We’ll rethink how the site works as a whole — how people move through it, what they notice first, how easily they find what they need, and how naturally they’re guided towards getting in touch.
Pages and content organised around what your customers actually need to find — without making them hunt for it.
Designed properly for smaller screens, rather than feeling like a desktop website that’s been squeezed onto a phone or tablet.
Clear ways for potential customers to take the next step, with a more natural journey from arriving on the site to getting in touch.
Stronger use of your branding, personality, imagery and content — instead of something generic or interchangeable.
Less clutter, fewer unnecessary distractions and a site that feels straightforward to use.
We’ll preserve useful SEO value — how easily someone can find you with a search engine — where possible and make sure the new site has the right on-page foundations to build on.
Beauty Spot · Before and after
Beauty Spot had an established website, but the design and mobile experience no longer reflected the business behind it.
We rebuilt the site from scratch around the salon as it is today — clearer, more polished, easier to use, and designed properly for modern screens.

Same business. A very different first impression.

Because we’re building a fresh website from scratch, the cost depends on the size of the site and what your business actually needs.
Most redesign projects will fit within our existing Launch (£549), Signature (£749) or Standout (£999) packages, so you’ll still have a clear idea of what’s included and what you’re paying for.
If your existing website has anything more complex that needs recreating or replacing, we’ll explain that clearly before you decide whether to go ahead.

Not always. That’s one of the things we’ll look at during the Free Website Review. If we think your current site still has plenty of life in it and doesn’t need replacing, we’ll tell you.
There usually isn’t one single reason.
Sometimes the problem is design: the website feels dated, difficult to use or doesn’t work particularly well on mobile. Sometimes the messaging is unclear, important information is hard to find, or visitors aren’t being given an obvious next step.
But the website itself may only be part of the picture. The quality of your website visitors, your offering, pricing, reputation and how well the site matches what potential customers are looking for can all affect enquiries too. Sometimes it can be as simple as making sure the information on your site is accurate and consistent, so Google finds it easier to make your site appear in relevant search results.
That’s why we wouldn’t recommend a redesign just for the sake of it.
If you’re not sure what’s holding your website back, our free website review gives you a straightforward outside perspective on what’s working, what could improve and what we’d prioritise.
Yes. In most cases, your domain can stay exactly as it is and simply point to the new website when it’s ready.
Usually, yes. Your email setup is separate from the website itself, so rebuilding the site doesn’t normally mean changing your email addresses.
Absolutely. If your current copy, photography or branding still works well, we can carry it forward into the new site rather than replacing things unnecessarily.
A rebuild needs to be handled carefully, but we’ll preserve useful SEO value where possible and make sure the new site has the right foundations in place from launch.
No. Your existing site stays live while we build the new one separately. We only switch over once the replacement site is ready to launch.
Then we’ll look at it properly and tell you whether it can be recreated, replaced, or needs a separate quote before you commit to anything.
That’s exactly what our Free Website Review is for.
We’ll take a proper look at your current site, talk through what’s working and what isn’t, and explain where we think a fresh website could make the biggest difference. If the review shows that a new website could help, we’ll invite you to a free consultation to talk through our recommendations.
We’ll send you our Website Recommendations by email after the consultation for you to look over while you think things through.
No obligation. No hard sell. Just straightforward advice.
